Family and Community

The family is the oldest institution on Earth, and plays a fundamental role in human society. The first human family was established in the garden of Eden. In the first family God authorized the marriage, and the man and the woman were united in a permanent union. In front of the highest Authority in the universe, Adam accepted Eve as a wife.

The family is the basic unit of society. Throughout history, the strength of society has been a function of the strength of the family. This institution is the best framework in which to raise children so that they become good adults.

All children are expected to be born in a family. At all times it becomes necessary to safeguard the family unit. We also want to protect the integrity of our own family, as well as the home and family of our neighbors.

A happy family is a haven of peace and security. In a happy family, the child knows that his parents will assist him when he is sick, possibly taking turns next to his bed at night. He knows that he can go to his mother or father with any of his childhood problems for advice and support. The child feels safe, no matter how plagued by problems the outside world is.

When children grow up, they usually marry and form their own family. "You notice the debt owed to the parents when you have a child," says an Eastern proverb. The adult children then try to lay the foundations for their family happiness with a deep sense of gratitude and love, and in turn attend to their older parents, who enjoy the company of the grandchildren.

In our times there is often a frontal attack against the family institution, which results in the collapse of moral principles and human society. Many families are also disintegrating, and in many that still stay together there is no happiness.

At UNIVERSE GRAND QUEEN® we believe that many of the human needs whose satisfaction leads to happiness can be met within the family circle. There we could find the things that we all usually yearn for: to feel that we are needed, we are appreciated, we are loved. An affectionate family relationship can satisfy these longings wonderfully. It can produce an environment of trust, understanding and compassion. The home then becomes a true refuge in which rest is found from the difficulties and disturbances of the outside. Children can feel safe and their personalities can flourish to the fullest of their potential.

When God created the first man and the first woman, he united them to produce a family. God's purpose was for this married couple to increase by the production of children. Then, when the children grew up, they were to marry and form their own families. God's purpose was that, over time, happy families would live everywhere on Earth. They would turn the Earth into a beautiful paradise everywhere.
